Features
- Switches from opaque to clear and back again with just a flick of a switch.
- Blinds and curtains are not necessary - keeping the clean lines of your windows and doors.
- When switched to clear the glass provides unobstructed views through the glass, unlike blinds where the slats are still visible.
- Switch operation and / or remote control. Glass could be switched under timer control for security.
- Can be incorporated into home automation systems.
- Switchable privacy glass actually reduces noise compared to ordinary double glazed sealed units.
- Changes state (clear>translucent or translucent>clear) in under a second.
- Uses only very small amounts of electrisity to polarize the particals in the glass.
- When translucent (Milky) - light still enters the room through the glass, unlike blinds that darken the room.
Important Notice
Please note that switchable privacy glass never goes completely clear. If compared back to back with ‘ordinary’ clear glass this glass will always look slightly milky. We advise that you should not place switchable and ordinary glass next to each other. We also advise that you visit our showroom to view the glass before purchase.
