16/04/15 - Secondary Glazing Online Estimator, New Feature - Launching April 2015

The Concept

Our Secondary Glazing Online Estimator was originally launched in 2004. Since then it has been re-designed, made easier to use and had many more features added to it. We now have a large number of customers that regularly use and rely on it to get quick and easy pricing within minutes. The estimator is used to calculate Duration Windows supply only prices and provide quotation reports that show all of the items on a job and their specifications. Each item is individually priced and displayed in a printable PDF report, with Duration Windows branding and prices. A high number of customers have suggested that it would be very useful for them to be able to create a report, without our prices and branding on.

The Result

Over recent months we have developed a new feature for our online estimator, which has been designed to enable our trade customers to create reports for their own customers. These reports can then be sent directly to their customers. Use the Report Designer to quickly and easily mark up our prices, in order to calculate your own prices and add your own company details to create a professional looking PDF report. You can then save your company details and pricing settings to make the process even quicker for future jobs. This new feature will be available for use on both new and existing quotes. We have been testing and evaluating this new feature, and it will be launched shortly.

We are currently rolling out this feature to a select few customers for a trial period, in order to gain user feedback. If you would like to get involved in this Beta testing, please let us know.

Please note: this feature is only available to users that are able to obtain a trade price from our estimators. If you are a trade company, but are not VAT registered and therefore cannot get trade prices, contact us today.
