20/11/12 - New Bi-folding Door Online Estimator

Launching November 2012

We have had our Bi-folding Door Online Estimator since 2005, when we first started to offer Bi-folding Doors. For the last few months we have been working hard to design a brand new Bi-folding Door Estimator. We have had some comments from customers over the years that the estimator is not particularly easy to use, and asks too many questions. We also felt that it was a bit ugly and not very stylish. As a result we set to work to create a new estimator, an online quote engine that would stand up to some of the other online estimators we had seen. We liked a lot of the estimators that are available, but wanted one was specifically for us, with our own input and style. We wanted to simplify the estimator we already had, to make it quicker and easier to use, but make it more engaging and intuitive.

The result of months of work is a fantastic, dynamic and stylish user interface with a functional and sophisticated back end program. The new estimator gives and online discount and is now the fastest and cheapest way to quote of bi-folding doors. You could save up to as much as £285 when doing quotations online. It is due to be launched 21^st November 2012.

Where Can The Estimator Be Found?

From The Homepage:
From the homepage (or any other page) on our website click on the "Get A Price" link (See left highlighted in red) on the main navigation bar of the site. This will give you a drop down, which shows all the online estimators we have. Click on "Bi-folding Doors" to open the Bi-folding Door Online Estimator.

From The Bifold Pages:
From any of our Bi-folding Door web pages click on the "Get A Price" button (See left highlighted in red) on the left hand side (or bottom of the page). This will open the Bi-folding Door Online Estimator directly.

How Do I Use The New Estimator?

The new Online Estimator is very simple and user friendly. It has been designed so that anyone can use it no matter how week their computer skills. The estimator will email you a price after just 4 easy steps.

Step 1.

In the first step ("Size") simply enter the size of the doors you require in millimeters, then press next.

Step 2.

In step 2 ("Style") you are given a list of images of bi-folding door configurations (styles) that are available at your chosen width. You can use the "Open In - Open Out" and "View In - View Out" sliders to change the view and orientation of the doors. Simply click on one of the images to see a 3D animation of the doors in action. Then you can click the "Pick This Style" button to choose that door configuration. You will automatically jump over to step 3.

Step 3.

In step 3 ("Colour") you need to choose and inside colour, outside colour and glass option for your bi-folding doors. To do this all you need to do is click the coloured boxes. Your choices will be displayed in a 3D corner sample, top right. Then simple click next.

Step 4.

In the 4^th and final step ("Send") simply fill in your details and click the "Send Quote" button and our quote engine will send you your quote by email. You will then be re-directed to our confirmation page. It really is that simple.
